Salary: The hiring range for this position is $64,540 - $108,451. The actual starting salary will depend on qualifications and experience in accordance with the current Senate compensation guidelines.
Telework: This position works on-site in the Minnesota Senate Building and Capitol during the legislative session (January-May). When the legislature is not in session, flexible hybrid options may be available.
Days of Work/Hours: Monday-Friday/8am-4:30pm and irregular hours during the legislative session.

The TV Director/Editor will lead the production team in studio, field, and committee productions. Serve as chief videographer and editor for field productions. Operate studio, control room, and field production equipment. Possess the ability to do minor equipment and situational troubleshooting with or without the assistance of engineering staff. Performs other duties as assigned.

Four-year college degree, or equivalent education through experience, with emphasis in television production and visual communication.
OR
Three years' experience in broadcast, cable, or industrial television production. Fluency in operations of non-linear video editing system(s). Broadcast news experience is a plus.
