• Requested Skill Set: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby
• Must have: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby, magnesium administration for pre-eclamptic patients
• Advanced skills needed: NRP, BLS
• Procedures performed on unit: C-section, circumcision, vaginal deliveries, antepartum testing, ultra sounds
Schedule Information
• Scheduling requirements: Every 3rd weekend

Unit Specific Information
• Unit Name: LDRP
• Number of Beds: 11 Labor Beds/ 2 Triage/ 2 OR
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 Laboring patients 3:1 Couplets
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Birth Registrar/Surgical OR Techs
• Type of equipment: Monica- wireless fetal monitoring/ GE fetal monitoring
• Documentation system: Meditech/ CPN
• Floating policy: Float to Sister Facility LD/PP
• Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Report/ Safety Rounding
• The unit is a small close-knit family-oriented unit. The nurses promote a team work atmosphere.
• Self-scheduling platform.
