Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Siding Installer to join our team. As a Siding Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of siding on residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship and meeting customer expectations. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities:

• Install various types of siding, including vinyl, aluminum, brick, stucco, and wood, on residential and commercial properties
• Measure and mark locations for siding installation, ensuring accurate placement and fit
• Cut and prepare siding materials according to specifications
• Install siding panels, trim, and accessories, ensuring proper alignment and sealing
• Use power tools and hand tools to complete installations
• Work at heights using scaffolding or ladders
• Inspect completed installations to ensure quality and meet customer expectations
• Collaborate with other installers, supervisors, and project managers to complete projects efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work site
• Follow company safety protocols and policies
• Complete necessary paperwork and reporting requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in siding installation or a related field (e.g., carpentry)
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Ability to read blueprints and understand installation plans
• Physical ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds), and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license 
• Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in siding installation (e.g., CertainTeed, James Hardie)
• Experience with specialized siding products (e.g., metal, stucco)
• Experience with Vinyl siding, fiber cement siding and asphalt shingle roofing
• Leadership or supervisory experience

Work Environment:

• Work is performed primarily outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
• May work at heights using scaffolding or ladders
• Must be able to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
• May be required to work in confined spaces or tight areas
