America's Test Kitchen is seeking a Senior Video Producer to create and edit original video content for YouTube and other platforms. This hands-on role involves collaborating with various departments and stakeholders at ATK, and leading video projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive on-set experience directing a video crew, producing, lighting, and shooting culinary content, and editing mid- to long-form videos. Proficiency with digital cinema cameras, Adobe post-production systems, color and sound finishing, and project management is required.

Core Responsibilities

  • Produce, shoot, and edit short- and medium-form video content for ATK’s YouTube and social channels, as well as in support of video initiatives
  • Lead planning, scripting, shooting, and other pre-production tasks for video assignments
  • Experience with cameras (Sony camera experience a plus), lenses, grip gear, lighting, and standard set protocols
  • Maintain expert knowledge of video content production and best practices
  • Ability to edit a high volume of content, as well as basic color correction and basic motion graphics
  • Collaborate with both senior team members and work independently
  • Manage tight deadlines and multi-task to complete competing priorities efficiently
  • Assist with additional video production as needed

Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of experience directing, shooting, producing and editing video content
  • Experience with Sony or other professional-grade cameras, as well as Arri or similar lighting equipment
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop)
  • Experience with color correction and basic sound finishing
  • Must have a collaborative team-oriented mentality along with the ability to work independently and under close direction
  • Must have great communication skills and be able to give and receive critical feedback in a team environment
  • Culinary video experience and a passion for cooking are a plus.

This position is located in our Boston, MA office in the Seaport district. It is the expectation that the person in this role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in the office and 2 days per week remotely.
