ABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location : Cases available throughout Nassau & Suffolk Counties.

Starting Pay Rate : $25-$32 per hour

Job Description: We are currently seeking highly qualified ABA therapists and RBTs to join our team and work with our wonderful families and children. Behavior Technicians provide direct one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis services to children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills. Work is performed in the client's home and/or school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct ABA services according to the educational plan outlined by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and/or school district.
• Record data on skill acquisition goals.
• Implement schedules of reinforcement.
• Assist with Functional Behavior Assessments.
• Implement Behavior Plans created by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Assist in program development.
• Complete daily paperwork, including session notes and timesheets.
• Collaborate with family and/or school team members to provide treatment effectively and without disruption to the environment or other individuals.
• Record session data daily.
• Assist in measuring behavior.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year working with children aged 2-18 in a supervised setting.
• Minimum of 1 year of ABA experience (preferred).
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (highly preferred).
• Patient, professional, and caring.
• Excellent communication skills with children, family members, and supervisors..
