Insurance Coordinator
Hours: (M-TH) 7am-4pm and (F) 7am-2pm
Location: Onsite in Greenwood, IN
Rate: $22.00/hour
Mid America Health is growing! We are seeking a full-time Insurance Coordinator to add to our team! Strong customer/patient service skills, ability to multitask, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are a must to be successful in this position!
This position will work with our School Smiles Division and will primarily be responsible for;
* Verification of private dental insurances and Medicaid dental benefits.
* Communication with parents to retrieve additional details needed for dental insurance.
* Managing accounts receivable including appeals.
* Liaison between our patients and clients as well our portable dental teams in the field.
Insurance Coordinator Job Requirements:
* Insurance verification experience (dental insurance preferred)
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Insurance Coordinator ideal candidate will possess skills in:
* Front Office dental experience
* Knowledge of dental terminology and billing codes
* Prior experience with dental practice management software
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Research and problem solving
* Time management
* Effective communication
* Flexibility as operational priorities change
* Ability to work autonomously and in a group
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
