Job Description This position will assist in the coordination and execution of various Receiving Department/Pharmacy Department operations under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Receiving.
Preferred skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
- Warehouse Inventory Management/Distribution
- Heavy Machinery Operation
- Peoplesoft ERP-Finance
Inspect and verify all incoming deliveries for content, visible damage, quantities, or for any discrepancies.
Maintain documentation and tracking of all inbound and outbound deliveries electronically on a computer or manually.
Electronic and manual data collection of various departmental matrices, provide electronic reports as needed.
Ensures the timely desktop electronic receiving of items into PeopleSoft.
Operate a wide variety of heavy machinery (i.e. forklift, pallet jack etc.) used to load/unload trucks, or move items.
Identify and tag all items when required (i.e. Asset Tags).
Receive and ship Special Purchase Requests (SPRs) when needed.
Coordinate with other departments on the transport of special requested items, samples, or stock items to all CHS facilities and external organizations.
Filing of all completed paperwork. Maintain Cleanliness of Receiving Area.
Assist Pharmacy, as needed, in stock work and in the creation of specialized kits.
Ad hoc projects as assigned for various departments.
Electronic Warehouse Inventory Management/Distribution.
Coordinates commodity organization, space, and storage in the Receiving Bay.
Process commodity returns (internal and vendor).
Minimum Qualifications 1. There are no formal education or experience requirements for this position.
2. Possession of a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of New York.
3. There are certain medical and physical requirements.
