Job Description
We are searching for a Tax Accountant in the Financial Services industry, located in Jupiter, Florida. This role involves a range of responsibilities, from managing tax-related functions to handling other accounting tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Review and prepare tax forms such as K-1’s, 1099, W-8/W-9 to ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Actively engage in the review and checking of fund tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Handle both internal and external tax inquiries, including investor tax queries and due diligence requests.
• Manage and reconcile accounts within a multi-entity framework.
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders and continually strive for process improvement.
• Deliver on ad-hoc requests accurately and maintain detailed procedure documents.
• Use advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Sage Intacct for financial record keeping and reporting.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial services environment, preferably in tax accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with the Annual Income Tax Provision is necessary.
• Knowledge and experience in Annual Tax and Annual Tax Provision are essential.
• Compliance Audit experience is a must.
• Familiarity with Corporate Income Tax is needed.
• Sage Intacct software proficiency is required.
• Experience with IRS Form 1065 is necessary.
• Knowledge of K-1 is a must.
• Experience in handling Complex Tax Return is desired.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
